Description:

Flip Timer leverages the proximity sensor on mobile devices to promote improved focus during work sessions. Its operation is straightforward: when the phone is placed face down on a surface, the app activates, reducing the likelihood of distractions from notifications or accessible applications and allowing users to concentrate fully on their current task. Upon completion of the set interval, an audible alert signals the end of the session, prompting the user to take a break or proceed to the next activity.

In strict mode, the timer enforces increased discipline by resetting if the device is flipped back upright before the timer concludes. This feature encourages commitment to focused periods without interruption.

The flashlight feature serves as a visual cue for timer completion, proving especially beneficial in quiet or low-light environments where auditory alerts may be less effective.

Additionally, the timer's duration is customizable, accommodating various needs for work intervals or rest periods.
